Before “The Bachelorette” there was “Hello Dolly.” Music Theatre of Idaho takes on this iconic musical with long-time company member Barbara Brand, pictured, as Dolly Levi. She’s a matchmaker who matches wits with prominent Yonkers business man Horace Vandergelder who secures her services to find him a wife. Little does he suspect that she picks herself as his perfect match. Fun ensues as she works her matchmaking-magic to the tune of some of Jerry Herman’s best songs, such as “It Only Takes a Moment,” “Before the Parade Passes By” and the title show-stopper “Hello Dolly!”
