Two Rivers has won this category before. But maybe that’s not a surprise, considering its veteran status. The salon and spa celebrated its 12th anniversary on Mother’s Day.

The shop opened across the street from its present location with just a couple pedicure chairs, massages and a few other services, said assistant marketing director Alexis Easly.

These days, Two Rivers offers eight pedicure stations (overlooking the Boise River, no less, so you can check out the riparian life as you get your toes tended), eight manicure stations and 15 hair stations. Patrons also can enjoy 12 massage and esthetic services rooms.

“We want people to feel relaxed, like they’re being taken off their feet, getting away from their real life,” Easly says.

That goes for every client, whether they’re there for a quick wax or a full spa day. “We want them to feel like they’re the most important person,” she says.

Two Rivers is known for its own physical beauty. A large chandelier hanging in the entryway is a customer favorite that helps clients know they’ve entered a special space. Despite the swank surroundings, the salon remembers its roots. Clients might feel like they’re in a high-end salon in New York City or Los Angeles, Easly says, but they’ll still be paying Boise prices.
