The upscale resale boutique buys from more than 6,000 Southwest Idaho women, adding more than 1,000 pieces a week to satisfy fashionistas on the hunt for a deal.

The store may have won shoppers’ hearts with its shrinking prices. Items are full price for 40 days, then half-off for a week, starting Tuesdays. If they don’t sell, they move to a $3 rack for a week. Prices are then slashed to $1 on Mondays.

A once-a-season $3 inventory clearance is “one of our biggest attractions,” says owner Amy La Jocies.

The store’s artful displays include basics such as leather clutches and classic heels, and statement pieces such as beaded purses and colorful cowgirl boots.

Consigners get 40 percent of the selling price. If something doesn’t sell, it becomes Again Consignment’s property and can be donated to the Idaho Youth Ranch, giving it a second chance at being sold secondhand.

The store just added a little sister (or brother) store. La Jocies opened Again 2, a version of the store for teen girls and guys, in February, a block away at 118 E. State St.
