Boise is a long way from an ocean, but that doesnt mean its impossible to get seafood that tastes great.
Serving fresh food, especially seafood, is important in any restaurant, and here they made it the first word in their name an obvious priority for Fresh Off The Hook.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and even though its always nice to eat in sunshine, the inside is quaint and unique. Street lamps light an interior thats decorated with models of vessels, an aquarium and a sign that reads Salt Air Is Best over the door. Although there is no scent of brine and no sound of waves, it is a fun maritime atmosphere, and there are no seagulls squawking for fries.
Fresh Off The Hook has calamari, crab, shrimp, scallops, clams and many kinds of fish on the menu. There is chicken for the landlubbers out there. And dessert. Drinkwise, theres wine available, beer on tap and even a variety of lemonade.
