‘The Mousetrap’ opens at Idaho Shakespeare Festival

Published: June 8, 2012

Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery play “The Mousetrap” gets revitalized in the Idaho Shakespeare Festival’s production. Director Drew Barr and a cast of seasoned ISF company members — and a few new additions — turn a play that’s often approached as a cliche into a riveting night of theater. Christie’s premise revolves around a group of strangers stranded in a snow storm who discover a murderer in their midst. Barr’s direction takes this play back from camp and connects it to the real-life murder on which it’s based.
