Snow fell in the Valley Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Amounts varied from trace amounts in Boise, to about two inches southeast of Nampa. About a half inch fell in Middleton and Caldwell. There are no reports from Meridian at this time.
The National Weather Service advises anyone driving east to be prepared for fog, and possible snowfall.
Friday will be the warmest day of the week, with temperatures reaching 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. But daytime highs will stay in the low- to mid-40s until then.
Wednesday night will be clear and cold with low temperatures in Boise expected to be around 27 degrees. Outlying areas will be even colder, with lows in the low 20s. Lows in the teens are possible in Nampa and Kuna.
A new storm system will roll into the Valley Friday night, which will bring colder temperatures on Saturday and Sunday, and a chance of snow.
