The skies above Boise are a bit noisier than usual.
Through Feb. 18, members of the U.S. Special Operations Command are participating in a "fire support" exercise at Mountain Home Air Force Base and surrounding areas.
According to a release from MHAFB, residents may see increased flying activity over Boise and Mountain Home.
Training was coordinated with the appropriate authorities, officials said.
