Hailey Police are investigating the deaths of former Bellevue mayor Jon Anderson and his ex-wife Linda Vaughn as a murder/suicide case, officials said Wednesday morning.

Hailey Police Assistant Chief Dave Sellers said Anderson and Vauhgn were found dead in a home they lived in at 320 Walnut St. by a caretaker around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police say it appears that Anderson shot the 58-year-old Vaughn and then shot himself.

Police say the 55-year-old Anderson lived amicably with Vaughn, who was suffering form multiple sclerosis and was wheelchair bound.
