Deputies say 30-year-old Ayllon was looking for his wife when he found her at her ex-husband’s home at an apartment in the 100 block of Plummer Road in Star just after 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Deputies say Ayllon got angry, pounded on the door, and eventually punched the other man in the face multiple times in the doorway the apartment. When deputies arrived, they found both Ayllon and the victim, who appeared to have serious facial injuries. Deputies then called for an ambulance and the victim was taken by paramedics to Saint Alphonsus Eagle Medical Center for treatment.

Sheriff’s officials say Ayllon actually called 911 before the attack, telling dispatchers he was at the apartment and was angry. It was when deputies showed up minutes later that they discovered the other man was injured.
