Idaho goalie Jerry Kuhn allowed three goals on 10 shots before being pulled a little more than 13 minutes into the game.

Bryan Hince relieved Kuhn and stopped 26-of-30 shots he faced in his Steelheads debut.

Jacob Cepis scored the first goal of the game for Idaho, but Stockton scored the next six goals to turn the game into a rout. Chad Nehring scored Idaho's other goal.
