Learn about big game hunting in Namibia
Luigi Viglietti, a professional hunter and owner of a 16,000-acre hunting ranch, will have a slide show and Q&A session from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Chicago Connection at Idaho Ice World, 7072 S. Eisenman Road in Boise.
He will give information on what animals are available to hunt, trophies harvested on his ranch, taxidermy options, etc. For details call (208) 322-9055.
Applications being taken for bear controlled hunts
The application period for the Idaho spring hunts runs through Feb. 15. Find hunt descriptions and hunt numbers in Idaho’s 2011 Big Game Rules Book in the Bear Season section, or go to fishandgame.idaho.gov
