Mikki Moore recorded his first double-double as Stampeder, but Idaho still fell to Austin 120-97 at home. Antoine Walker (18 points), Tony Bobbitt (15) and Seth Tarver (10) also finished in double-figures, but Idaho (8-13) shot just 26.3 percent from the 3-point line and 64.3 percent from the free throw line, while losing the rebounding battle 46-35. Seven of the eight Toros players finished in double-figures. The Stampede face Austin again at 7 p.m. Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.
The team re-acquired Eric Devendorf and Kevin Galloway on Friday. Both were scheduled to dress for Fridays night game. To make room on the roster, Idaho waived Terrico White because of injury and Will Foster for personal reasons.
