Idaho Power crews are working to restore electricity to about 200 customers in Robie Creek, Idaho City, Bogus Basin, and Wilderness Ranch area off Idaho 21 Friday morning.

Several power lines were knocked down by icy winter weather overnight. About 500 customers were without power early Friday morning but work crews were able to restore power to many of those customers by 7:30 a.m.

A power outage in Bogus Basin area kept KTVB off the air for much of Friday morning because the TV station has a transmitter tower on top of the mountain. Channel 7 was able to restore the video transmission by around 9 a.m.

Idaho Power has two major power lines that supply Bogus Basin, and one of those lines is working, so Bogus Basin Mountain Resort should be able to operate their ski lifts Friday, Idaho Power officials said.
