Low-income children and at-risk youth will receive free transportation to after-school programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County, thanks to a $20,000 grant from the Julius C. Jeker Foundation.

“The Jeker Foundation’s grant helps vulnerable children safely reach both our Garden City and Meridian Clubs,” said Colleen Braga, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club. “Where they can benefit from healthy meals and snacks, homework help, and a wide variety of development and leadership programs. Thanks to the Jeker Foundation’s grant, our Clubs will be accessible to those who need us most.”

Busing is provided to Club members, free of charge, from several elementary and middle schools.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County serve more nearly 4,000 local children and provide a wide variety of youth development programs.
