NAMPA The 4A Southern Idaho Conference girls basketball race just got a little more complicated.
One game shy of the midway point in the season, Bishop Kelly earned a 56-48 victory against Skyview on Friday to force a potential three-way tie for second place.
The Knights and Hawks are tied at 6-2 in league play and Kuna could join them with a win Saturday against Nampa. Two-time defending state champion Middleton (9-0, 7-0) sits alone at the top as the only unbeaten team left in the conference.
I think we have four or five teams in the league that could knock you off and maybe even a sixth team, Bishop Kelly coach Derek McCormick said. Our league is really competitive. Its almost on the same level with the 5A this year. The top of our league is pretty solid, and thats whats scary about it, too.
Bishop Kelly (9-2 overall) used a balanced attack to get past the Hawks (6-3).

We werent selfish with the ball, Talboy said. We did the extra pass to look for the best shot possible.
