BORAH 43, BOISE 7 Borah quarterback Braden Corpus, above, threw two touchdown passes and ran for another as the Lions rolled to an easy win Friday at Bronco Stadium. BISHOP KELLY 48 CALDWELL 21

Andrew Spangler stole the show for the Knights, rushing for 301 yards and five touchdowns in the rout. Bishop Kelly’s Bowen Ogata threw for 105 yards.

COLUMBIA 34, KUNA 3

Austin Schaffer’s big night propelled the Wildcats to a 4-0 start. Schaffer threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 127 yards and three touchdowns as Columbia cruised.

CAPITAL 42, VALLIVUE 18

Capital pulled away in the second half after a back-and-forth first half. Eagles quarterback Makena Simis efficiently completed 72 percent of his passes for 166 yards and ran for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Sean Davis ran for 153 yards for Vallivue in the loss.

MERIDIAN 51, ROCKY MOUNTAIN 41

Both teams combined for 812 yards of total offense, but Meridian’s strong second half earned the win for the Warriors. Tyler Berkheiser, Jake Berard and Hayden Stout each ran for at least 124 yards for Meridian, whose entire offensive output was on the ground.

PAYETTE 22, HOMEDALE 20

Homedale scored a TD with six seconds remaining in the game, but Payette’s defense stopped the Trojans’ two-point conversion to preserve the win.

WEISER 56, PARMA 12

Weiser led after Justin Roberts took the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. It was all Weiser after that. Mitchell Svedin led the Wolverines with 103 rushing yards and one TD.

IDAHO CITY 54, GREENLEAF FRIENDS 8

Idaho City jumped out to a 32-8 lead after the first quarter en route to the big win. Tailback D.J. Hazzard ran for 165 yards, and fullback Lucas Ogden contributed with three rushing TDs. Blake D’Aquino, a tight end, had 46 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.

NAMPA CHRISTIAN 35, COLE VALLEY 7

Nampa Christian capitalized on four costly Charger interceptions to build a lead. Austin Holton led Nampa Christian with 132 rushing yards and one TD.

RIMROCK 42, WILDER 30

Rimrock rushed for 387 yards in the victory as three Raiders collected more than 100 yards each.

SALMON RIVER 76, COUNCIL 30

Salmon River’s Leighton Vander Esch threw for 434 yards and six TDs in a nonconference win. Ethan Couie rushed for 140 yards and two TDs for Salmon River.
