Treasure Valley businesses are invited to attend either of two free, 90-minute sessions next week about online advertising.

Brad Ames, local affiliate manager for McClatchy Interactive, will lead discussions about how online ads work, the benefits of the platform, who’s online, effective vehicles to reach affluent online readers, and ad components that are most meaningful to consumers. The McClatchy Co. owns the Statesman.

The sessions will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the Idaho Statesman’s conference room at 1200 N. Curtis Road. Attendance is free, but space is limited. Reservations are requested by Thursday, Sept. 8. Call or email Binna Jensen at 377-6475 or bjensen@idahostatesman.com.
