Construction is expected to start about Oct. 1 on Whole Foods and Walgreens between Myrtle and Front streets on the west side of Broadway Avenue in Boise.

The city has already approved the project and is now reviewing the building permit application, according to Rick Duggan with Schlosser Development.

Once the building permit is issued, the project will go out to bid.

Construction of the 35,000-square-foot Whole Foods grocery store and 14,000-square-foot Walgreens is expected to take 12 to 14 months.
