Five people injured in head-on crash Tuesday night on Banks-Lowman Highway

Five Treasure Valley residents were injured in a head-on collision Tuesday night on County Highway 17 between Banks and Crouch.

According to a release from Idaho State Police, Anthony Reilly, 25, of Nampa crossed the center line in a Kia Spectra. The Spectra collided head on with a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Susan Decker, 59, of Boise.

Reilly and his 12-year-old passenger were extricated from the vehicle by emergency crews. Reilly was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise via air ambulance.

Decker, her two passengers, ages 13- and 67-years-old, and Reilly's passenger were taken to the same hospital via ground ambulance.

According to the release, alcohol is not a factor in the crash. Officials don't know who was wearing seatbelts. The crash is under investigation.
