Bureau of Land Management officials said two fires were burning Wednesday in Elmore County.
The "Reggie Fire" had burned about 30 acres north of Interstate 84 near South Regina Road.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation, said Bob Narus, a spokesman for the BLM.
The active fire was quickly knocked down, Narus said. The fire was estimated to be controlled by noon Thursday.
A larger crew, including firefighters from the Mountain Home Rural Fire District, were battling a much larger blaze southwest of Mountain Home.
The blaze had charred between 150 to 200 acres, Narus said.
The "Gunner Fire" in the rural fire district among structures, Narus said. Structures were damaged a mix of homes and outbuildings.
The fire was estimated to be controlled by 8 p.m. Thursday, Narus said.
