A Twin Falls man was sentenced Friday to nearly three years federal prison for unlawful possession of a firearm.
A press release from the U.S. Attorney for Idaho said Clifford Valasquez, 33, pleaded guilty in November.
Due to a previous conviction, Velasquez was not allowed to have firearms under federal law. He was found with a .22 rifle in April.
