A 26-year-old Boise man who was banging on the back door of a house in the 5300 block of Cassia Street at about 1:40 a.m. Friday drew the attention of neighbors and police. He was yelling for a woman who did not live at the residence, and witnesses described him as "very intoxicated."
When police met up with John C. Williams -- who was unable to tell police where he was or where he was going -- he was emptying his pockets looking for money for a cab. Officers saw a pill bottle with the label pulled off come out of his pocket and determined it contained several ecstasy pills.
Officers also recovered a baggie that contained a small amount of methamphetamine and a medication that he didn't have a prescription for.
Williams was booked into the Ada County jail on charges of three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one count of misdemeanor illegal possession of a prescription drug.
