BOISE - Joshua Luman is once again charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of his friend, Noah Hopper, in September.
Luman is accused of punching the 26-year-old Hopper in the face, which caused him to hit his head on some concrete, near the Julia Davis Park bandshell in the early morning hours of Sept. 7.
Luman, also 26, was originally charged with second-degree murder but prosecutors changed it to involuntary manslaughter. They did not say why they returned to the stronger charge.
