Bitner Vineyards, Vale Wine Co. and Fujishin Family Cellars will offer their wares in the downtown business, set for a grand opening Saturday afternoon.
The three winery owners, longtime friends who all graduated from the College of Idaho, named the tasting room “Coyotes” in tribute to the Caldwell college’s mascot. Weekly hours are from noon to 6 p.m. Fridays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays at 217 S. Kimball Ave. along Indian Creek.
“Downtown Caldwell has positioned itself as the gateway to Idaho’s wine country, and we want to be visitors’ first stop,” winemaker Martin Fujishin said. “We’re excited to take part in what is going to be one of the great success stories in downtown Caldwell’s redevelopment.”
