ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, Idaho Center, 16200 Idaho Center Blvd., Nampa. $29.50 and $39.50. ICTickets. Opening: Lost Trailers

Darius Rucker, frontman for pop-rock band Hootie and the Blowfish, has forged a surprising new career as a country singer. It's sort of a big deal: Rucker is the first black man to have a No. 1 country song in a quarter century - and only the third to have one at all. (Ray Charles and Charley Pride were the other two.) If you listen to country radio, you've probably heard one of Rucker's three No. 1 hits from "Learn to Live," his 2008 album: "Don't Think I Don't Think About It," "It Won't Be Like This for Long" and "Alright."
