The Boise Hawks returned to the win column Sunday night, defeated the Tri-City Dust Devils 2-1 to snap a six-game losing streak.
Starter Kenneth McNutt and relievers Austin Kirk and Daniel Keefe combined to hold the Dust Devils to two hits and one run. Kirk got the win while Keefe earned the save.
Justin Bour and Derrick Fitzgerald each had three hits for Boise, which pounded out 11 hits. The Hawks wrap up their 12-game road trip Monday night against Tri-City. Boise returns home Tuesday for the final six games of the regular season. BOX, NWL STANDINGS, B4
