Thousand springs flows from the canyon walls along the Snake River between Hagerman and Twin Falls. The water pours from the Snake Plain Aquifer, one of the largest groundwater systems in the world, and provides ideal conditions for trout hatcheries along a 30-mile stretch of the Snake River, where about 70 percent of the trout in the United States is produced.
