Yardage: 580 (blue), 532 (white), 502 (red) One of Idaho's most hated holes got a much-needed fix as about 50 yards of wetlands was cleared out of the landing area to allow for 240-yard tee shots. Before, you could only hit it about 180-190. The rest of the hole remains tight, and still plays to a difficult green. CHADD CRIPE / THE IDAHO STATESMAN

Description: The 27-hole course is typical of the mountains, with tall trees and wetlands consistently in play. Two of the nines are par-35 and one, the Birch nine, is a par-36.
