Mountain lakes provide great summer fishing. Grab a map and head to the Alpine areas around McCall, Stanley, Challis, Ketchum or Riggins. Nearly all the lakes have fish. It's up to you to go find them.

Another option: The Middle and North forks of the Boise River offer miles and miles of great water to wade and fish for trout. Use dry flies or small spinners.
