I know there is more to life than reliving Boise States Fiesta Bowl victory.
But lets put that off for another few days (at least until we get caught up from not sleeping that first full night of the year).
In that spirit, heres an online Sports Illustrated article that says all that talk of a playoff system for college football sparked by BSUs spectacular win should be put to rest.
Ill admit Im pretty impressionable. If you make a good argument, Im likely to side with you, at least until I read the next article.
But I think this one might stick.
The author makes the argument that the post-game celebration couldnt have been as gleeful if the team and the fans had to immediately start gearing up to play in one more game.
Basically, he says the ending of Mondays overtime win was the best way possible to end the season.
Since that last quarter almost gave me a heart attack, I think its probably better for our health that we dont have to go through that again (until next year?).

And of course weve got everything youd ever want to know about BSU football here.
Heres selections of video I shot in Arizona before and during the Fiesta Bowl.
