Good Morning Americas Robin Roberts called Boise State running back Ian Johnson a Renaissance man this morning.
Then his new fiancee Chrissy Popadics said, Hes perfect.
Those comments preceded Johnson talking about how he designed the ring that now rests comfortably on Popadics finger.
We all know by now how he crochets (in case we didnt, GMA treated us to video of Johnson speeding through one of his now famous beanies).
And he can definitely run with that football.
The couple is making the television rounds this morning to talk about their now famous engagement that came minutes after Boise State clinched its nail-biting win over Oklahoma in Mondays Fiesta Bowl.
In case youre at work and missed the GMA spot, Im happy to give you the highlights.
Johnson is clearly comfortable in the spotlight, but claims the proposal made on a national stage was no easy task.
I practiced for the game, he told Roberts. I didnt practice for this so much.
At the end of the interview, the GMA staff represented the cute-as-can-be couple with an apple pie (because theyre so All-American) and a tiny football for the first little running back the couple produces.
