This Land

Canyons carve into the heart of this land, this Land laced with Ripples with rills, water Unforgiving, crashing, shape-changing to Water mirror-smooth, pure, soft, still.

Canyons carve, deep, to the heart of our land Land laced with River ribbons tickle heels of wood-crested mountains, Earth’s shoulders robed with snow, draped with flowers.

Canyons carve this land, this Land laced with River of No Return, Bighorn sheep, wolf, bear, deer — all call this home. Paradise shielded, paradise revealed; paradise found.
