Quick camp venison chili

OK, you´ve had a long day stalking deer, and you and your buddies are beat.

You want a quick meal that will stay with you. Here´s a recipe for gourmet chili, but the ingredients come out of a can.

Cut up venison steaks (one steak per person) and a few onions.

Brown the venison and onions in a Dutch oven with cooking oil.

Dump in three 30-ounce cans of Hunt´s Chili Beans (more with more hunters).

Add two or three 14.5 ounce cans of S&W Mexican Recipe Stewed Tomatoes

(more if needed).

If you want to try something different check out Ro-Tel´s Chili Fixin´ Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles. You can substitute a couple of these 10-ounce cans instead of the S&W tomatoes.

Add chili powder to your taste. Let simmer for about 30 minutes.

Quick venison chili. It doesn´t get any better at deer camp.
