Spc. Rich Trujillo of Idaho Falls keeps his 3-year-old daughter, Angela, close to his heart. He wears a picture of the two of them around his neck and tucked inside his body armor when he’s on patrol. The picture was taken at Wal-Mart before Trujillo left on the deployment. “I told her just the other day I carry it with me everywhere,” Trujillo said. “She was pretty excited about that.” During the same call, he found out what his little girl wants to be when she grows up. “She tells me she wants to be an astronaut now because she had a dream that she went into space,” he said.
