Whats happening? Starting today, we are offering a plan that allows you to read and enjoy the Idaho Statesman in all its digital forms.
Who is affected? Anyone who accesses our content on our website, mobile site, smartphone apps, tablet apps or our electronic replica of our print edition.
How does it work? Current newspaper subscribers may access all the content on any platform in one inclusive print and digital subscription package. Folks who do not have a print subscription can get a digital- only package. Go to IdahoStatesman.com/plus to find out the details and prices. (You can see step-by-step sign-on instructions on Page B12.) If you dont choose to subscribe, your access to digital content will be limited. This new package will require a new sign-in.
Why are we doing this? As your news habits changed, our journalists changed with you, providing in-depth coverage in whatever format you wanted. By asking everyone who gets our news and information on digital platforms to help pay, we will be better able to support our staff the largest reporting team in the Treasure Valley. Hundreds of news organizations have shifted to this new business model. We are the last daily Idaho newspaper to do so.
What can I see without paying? Visitors have unlimited access to our home page, section fronts, obituaries, advertising and dealsaver.
Want to know more? Read Publisher Mike Jungs letter at IdahoStatesman.com/plus.
Whats new? We have purchased a new entertainment package with 84 comics and 18 puzzles, including crosswords, word games and Sudoku, that will be coming to our website soon. Enjoy!
