A 30-year-old Boise man was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with misdemeanor public nudity after running around Downtown - without pants or underwear.
Boise police were called to the area of 5th and Grove streets at 2:55 a.m. when a cab driver reported a man was removing his clothes and throwing them at passing cars.
The man, later identified as Domenico Lee Triolo Jr., made it to 6th and Main streets before officers were able to catch and arrest him. Triolo was wearing only a long sleeve T-shirt when he was arrested, according to reports.
When asked by officers what happened to his pants and underwear, Triolo told them he couldn't remember. Officers said Triolo smelled strongly of alcohol, reports said.
The temperature at the time of the arrest was 51 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
The charge of public nudity is punishable by up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
