A newly renovated overlook provides a scenic view of the Boise River and the banks of Ann Morrison Park.
The overlook is on the north side of the river in Shoreline Park next to the Volunteer Greenbelt Patrol headquarters.
The 1.75-acre grassy park features shade trees and picnic tables on a popular section of the Greenbelt near the 13th Street Post Office.
The new 175-square-foot overlook was designed and built by Boise Parks & Recreation employees using composite lumber and steel. The cost was $20,000.
