ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, and Sunday, Dec. 5, Jewett Auditorium, The College of Idaho, 2112 E. Cleveland Blvd., Caldwell. $14-$18 general, $8-$12 students and children. 459-3405, www.caldwellfinearts.org.

Eugene Ballet will bring its whimsical touring production of "The Nutcracker" to Idaho this weekend for the Caldwell Fine Arts series. It has the feel of a pop-up-Christmas card and features a mouse pirate ship, a magical carousel horse and a hot air balloon that takes Clara and her beloved Hans to the Land of the Sweets. You might recognize the dancers and set from past Ballet Idaho performances. The two companies shared an alliance for over 14 years.
