Larry, Kira, and Keno are siblings looking for an energetic family to keep them together. Kira and Keno are fraternal twins who share a strong bond, as well as with their older brother, Larry (sitting). Kira lives in a separate foster home from her brothers, but they live near each other and regularly spend time together. They are hoping for an adoptive family soon so they can all be together.
LARRY
Larry is a quiet boy described as "caring and the most helpful child you would ever want to meet, even when he's not asked." He also is observant and cooperative. His siblings said he is "fun to play with, kind, a peacemaker, and a good personality."
He loves being with his siblings, but he also needs time to himself. Larry likes basketball, football and skateboarding. He would like a family that would allow him to have a dog.
Larry benefits from having adult and peer role models in his life.
KIRA
Kira is a bright and active young woman. She is athletic and loves sports. "I really like basketball and got to go to basketball camp this summer. I like to play softball. I've played for the Salvation Army team for three years. I play soccer, too, and I love to swim."
Kira clearly needs a family who can support her in sporting interests.
Kira's foster mom describes her as "easy-going, a tough cookie, easily re-directed, likes to joke a lot, fun, caring and always in tune to others' needs."
KENO
Keno is the baby of the family (though only born one minute behind Kira). He is described by his siblings as a jokester.
Keno's energy and imagination are some of his greatest assets. He loves to be active and enjoys similar interests as his brother.
Keno likes to please people and is very caring. He would benefit from a family that can support his attachments to his brother and twin sister, as well as provide individual support and direction.
These children are the youngest of eight siblings. They have relationships with some of their older siblings and would benefit from maintaining those connections.
An ideal family would be a two-parent home where they were the only children, at least initially. Their adoption worker did say, however, they may do well in a large, multicultural family that could model appropriate behaviors and family relationships.
Larry, Kira & Keno are available for adoption through the state of Oregon. For contact information, please call the Idaho CareLine at (800) 926-2588.
