Basketball Clinic: Caldwell Recreation will put on a first- and second-grade clinic designed to teach boys and girls the fundamentals of basketball before they start league play in March. Shooting Stars: Nampa Recreation Center program for boys and girls in kindergarten and first grades is designed to provide a fun, challenging sports experience that emphasizes learning skills and sports values rather than pure competition. Each team will have one 45-minute practice per week at the NRC. Practices will be held during the evenings and games will played Saturday mornings at the NRC. Cost is $24 for pass holders and $32 for non-pass holders. A team placement evaluation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday on court No. 1 at the NRC.
